A conversion of two Outrigger
Ohana Reef Hotel towers, which
totaled 400 units, has been
converted to a single timeshare
tower of 198 units. This timeshare
has several restaurant and retail
tenants along the street level,
including Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
and Sunshine Swimwear. It is part
of a comprehensive project to
improve a historic area in Waikiki
aimed at making it a destination
for both locals and visitors.
Notkin Hawaii Inc. provided the
demolition drawings in addition to
mechanical engineering services
for the building conversion,
including heating, ventilation, air
conditioning, plumbing, and fire
sprinklers.
